So off we go to Klein Joostenberg Bistro. My first time around. My dear friend Julie decides that I need a bit of pampering.
In we drive to this lush green, tree filled property, with Roosters roaming around, occasionally voicing their opinions, a horse in the distance pulling something similar looking to what the Queen would sit in, with children very happily waving from this seat, and thoroughly enjoying themselves.
I am still feeling a bit sleepy, to be honest, yesterday was loaded with a 9 hour non-stop physical work day. So, of course, we order coffee first. I mean, really, that is a no brainer.
We both go for the Cappuccino.
Delicious!
The first sip was.....well how do you describe a dark roast, strong, creamy, woody flavored cup of awesomeness?
Welcome to Terbodore Coffee Roasters delicious brew (You can find them in Franschhoek by the way).Served at Klein Joostenberg Bistro, just off the R304, along with big servings of clean, fresh air, a beautiful dam, ducks, roosters, the horse, and loads of chirping birds. What better way to spend a Sunday morning.
Just to add, their menu is divine! Omelette for me it was.
I can only describe the coffee as being the most soothing for the soul.
