Home is just as good. There are times when I would rather sloff around at home in my P.J's than venture out of the door. You know, one of those days where you wake up and you just know that you know that today is NOT the day to leave the house.
So you walk around with the hair all mussed up, face devoid of make-up (for those who do wear, I do not wear often), slippers flip-flopping on the floor, blanket securely wrapped around you. One thing doesn't change though, it's the need for the coffee.
So there is a variety, a "Hug in a Mug", Jacobs, Douwe Egbert, you know, all those instant ones. Liven them up a bit, pop a marshmallow in, or whip up a bit of cream and put a good dollop on top of your ready-made coffee, with a sprinkle of cinnamon and cacao.
Or if you are of the lucky variety and you have your own Nespresso Machine, or Siphon or PoreOver at home, then you can snuggle up with the really good stuff.
Either way, crawl back under that duvet, with a good book, or a good movie on the laptop, or that trusted series, and sip on that heavenly brew.
To be truly honest, I have visited Origin Coffee in De Waterkant, two times in three days. I am totally in love with the place. If you want quality coffee, go and pop in there, and purchase yourself a 250g of pure love. There will always be somebody around to help you make the choice of which one to choose, that will be most enjoyable to your palate. If you want to get experimental, you can purchase a Siphon and get more closely acquainted with your coffee through that method. I love the Yama Siphon, and have ordered it both times I have visited. Totally delicious.
For a true coffee experience, do yourself a favor and visit, if you are in the vicinity. It really is worth your while, and I guarantee you, you will want to go back, I know I am going to again, and again.........and again.
